Overview


We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while supervising kitchen staff and managing daily operations.

Duties



Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and team collaboration. Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food production and preparation. Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
