We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations Manage food production processes to meet quality standards and customer expectations Oversee food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures Lead the team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff to foster professional growth Ensure compliance with all relevant hospitality regulations and standards

Qualifications



Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting Demonstrable supervisory experience and team management skills Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members Familiarity with food production processes and menu development Good understanding of hospitality service standards, including serving practices Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
