We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant and kitchen operations, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will be reporting to the Head Chef in food preparation and production, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of excellence while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Support menu planning, development and daily specials
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in presentation and flavour.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Provide leadership and support to team members, helping them develop their culinary skills.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
