I am seeking Chefs to join the kitchen team at Toast. A positive attitude, great work ethic and 'work hard play hard' approach are essential. I am looking for people who take their work seriously but themselves not too seriously, who can join a team of like minded team members to successfully launch Toast as the go-to destination in Winchester. We will be opening in August 2025 in a prime location on Jewry Street. This is a full time role that will require you to be available all week including weekends, outside of pre-booked holiday.
Duties
As Chef you will work under the Head Chef, ensuring that every dish is prepared to the highest possible standard and every guests expectations are exceeded
Ensure that the kitchen is fully compliant with health and safety / food safety standards, throughout every shift
Carry out food prep before the shift and delivery great food through Brunch and Dinner services
Preferred experience in the following areas
Chef or higher in a busy kitchen
Food preparation
Fresh food cooking
Food safety and Health and Safety adherence
