Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen equipment usage.
Foster a positive working environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
