We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a key role in supervising kitchen staff, managing food preparation, and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods, providing support where needed. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Assist in food preparation as required, demonstrating strong culinary skills across various cooking methods.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary practices, and food safety regulations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen team. Proficient in various cooking methods and techniques with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams. A culinary qualification or relevant certification is preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.
