Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff supervision.
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse dishes that cater to various dietary needs.
A passion for the culinary arts, with an eagerness to stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
