Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Supervise kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members to ensure smooth operations Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste Develop new recipes and menu items in collaboration with management Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively Solid background in hospitality or restaurant settings, demonstrating leadership qualities Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in culinary operations Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent organisational skills Previous roles involving serving customers or front-of-house duties are advantageous but not essential
