Bean & Grape is a new Cafe-Wine Bar based in Glengormley. We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate Chefs to embark on this exciting journey with us. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting all culinary operations, supervising kitchen operations, managing team dynamics, and ensuring high standards of food production and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a flair for creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

One full-time and several part-time roles are available, for both brunch and evening services.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Complete and maintain relevant paperwork as per Environmental Health requirements. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's standards. Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and creativity.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar culinary role is essential; a passion for food production and preparation is key. Familiarity with culinary techniques and restaurant operations required. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role. A commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and customer service is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
