Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of orders Oversee food safety compliance and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area Lead team management efforts, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Innovate menu items and contribute to the development of new culinary concepts Monitor inventory levels and assist with procurement to minimise waste and control costs

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving Experience in food production, culinary arts, and hospitality service Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
