Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Supervising experience is essential, with demonstrated team management abilities. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Previous experience in food production is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
