We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management to meet customer preferences and seasonal trends
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all offerings
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper storage of ingredients
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen efficiency
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
Strong knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and culinary arts
Excellent skills in food safety standards and hygiene practices
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
Experience in menu development and food presentation
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality industry is highly desirable
