We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will be supervising kitchen staff and managing the overall kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
Provide exceptional hospitality to guests by maintaining a positive atmosphere
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests
A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
