Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Implement and uphold food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff effectively. Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and food production processes. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
