Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
Oversee food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards within the kitchen environment.
Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and promote team development.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
Proven experience in food production, cooking within a busy hospitality setting.
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, presentation, and culinary techniques.
Leadership qualities with the ability to organise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills to foster teamwork and coordinate with other departments.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
