Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting skill development and teamwork. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards. Handle any customer complaints or feedback with professionalism and care.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting is essential. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences is highly desirable. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
