Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, cooking, and plating
Develop and refine menus in collaboration with management, ensuring variety and quality
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste
Train staff on food safety procedures, cooking techniques, and customer service standards
Ensure timely delivery of dishes while maintaining consistency in taste and appearance
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organisation to uphold health standards
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings preferred
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a culinary setting
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Familiarity with menu development and food presentation standards
Previous experience serving or working closely with front-of-house teams is advantageous
