Duties



Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service. Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards. Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times. Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and control food costs effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to hygiene standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in planning special events or catering services as required.

Requirements



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings. Previous experience working in restaurants or similar establishments is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development. Good communication skills and the ability to motivate team members. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
