Responsibilities

Assisting with food preparation and cooking tasks to ensure timely delivery of meals Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all processes Supporting the team with meal assembly and presentation according to established recipes and standards Ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising work surfaces Assisting with stock management, including receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately Serving meals to customers in a courteous and efficient manner when required Following all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for staff and customers

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Experience with meal preparation, including handling various ingredients and cooking techniques Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving customers when necessary Practical understanding of kitchen equipment usage and maintenance is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
