Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise and lead kitchen staff, including training and mentoring junior team members
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold consistency and customer satisfaction
Innovate new menu items and contribute to menu planning based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
