Chef (part Time)
Job Description
A chef is needed to join the team at VFM catering which specialises in food services within the construction sector.
Based at the new waste to energy site in Belvedere, you'll be responsible for the preparation and delivery of fresh cooked food. Working directly with the kitchen manager and the kitchen team to ensure a quality service is delivered to our customer base.
Must be keen, enthusiastic, demonstrate a willingness to learn and be a team player with good communication skills.
Required skills:
It is essential to have a sound knowledge of catering, this includes; food hygiene, food safety and hold level 2 food safety qualification as a minimum.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a busy catering environment, using fresh ingredients with the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, flair and imagination.
Excellent working hours, 0700 - 1300 Monday -Friday
Alternate Saturday mornings
28 days paid holiday inc bank holidays
Free staff meal whilst on duty
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 20,280.00 per year
