As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences while leading and managing kitchen staff. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences, while managing food costs effectively.
Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, contributing creativity to the culinary offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for food preparation.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and front-of-house staff.
