We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef - specialising in Polish cuisine, to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our food production processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong background in food preparation and culinary practices, along with excellent leadership and team management abilities. The Chef will be responsible for supervising kitchen operations, maintaining food safety protocols, and ensuring that all culinary tasks are executed efficiently.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
Coordinate food preparation activities, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist in cooking and food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary expertise.
Train new staff on kitchen procedures, food safety practices, and equipment usage.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery within the hospitality environment.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
Experience
Proven experience in Polish cuisine.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant setting is essential.
Background in food production or culinary arts is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills
