We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee all aspects of food production, from planning menus to executing high-quality dishes. Maintain food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and best practices. Collaborate with team members to create innovative recipes that delight our guests. Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain kitchen operations. Train new staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among kitchen staff. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in menu development. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly desirable.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
