Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and culinary assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment Develop innovative menus that align with restaurant concepts and guest preferences while managing food costs and inventory control Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation meet established standards Manage daily kitchen operations, including shift management, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service Monitor inventory levels, order supplies efficiently, and control waste to optimize food production costs Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations

Skills



Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience managing dietary departments Expertise in food production, menu planning, and food handling procedures Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff Experience in banquet service, catering, and restaurant management practices Proficiency in inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen operations Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines with an emphasis on presentation and quality assurance Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including food service management and shift oversight

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
