An exciting opportunity to join a brand new kitchen team. We are a new bistro hiring a whole kitchen. We require head chef, chefs and kitchen assistant.

Our opening hours:

Wednesday- Thursday 4-9

Friday -Saturday 10-9

Sunday 10-6

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. The Chef will be responsible for creating dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Work as part of kitchen team to foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices. Proficiency in food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation skills. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.44-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
