We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork
Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise resources
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service and meet customer expectations
Train new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service protocols
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health regulations
Requirements
Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Strong skills in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management
Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality industry is highly desirable
A genuine passion for culinary arts coupled with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
