Head Chef

at our vibrant, community-focused coffee shop.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid kitchen experience who's eager to lead, learn, and shape the future of our food offering.

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Chef (or aspiring Head Chef), you'll be responsible for:

Daily food preparation

including breakfast, brunch, and lunch service

Baking

fresh goods such as cakes, pastries, and breads (preferred)

Menu development

- bring your creativity to seasonal and special menus

Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards

Stock control and ordering

to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance

at all times

Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff

Collaborating with the cafe team

to deliver a warm and welcoming customer experience

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience as a

Chef

in a cafe, restaurant, or similar setting A genuine passion for food, baking, and hospitality A desire to

grow into a leadership role

Strong organisational skills and a calm, positive attitude under pressure Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new dishes Flexibility to work weekends and busy periods
