Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Assist the head chef and take charge of cooking when they have time off. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain stock control Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service experiences Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and other departments Experience in food production, restaurant service, and hospitality environments is highly desirable Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Pay: 14.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 42 per week
