Job Description

As a Chef at Sodexo in Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital, you will be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will have a passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow as a culinary professional. What you\'ll do:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development
• Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised

What you bring:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent at least 2 years plus working as a chef
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent culinary skills and a passion for cooking
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect

Package Description

• Hours: 37.5
• Days required to work per week / Shift pattern: 5 days a week, 5 over 7 with weekend work 7:30-14:00, 8:00-16:00, 10:00-18:30. Weekends Saturday 7:30-18:00, Sunday 7:30-15:00
• Rate of pay: \xc2\xa312.00ph
• There are bus stops located very close to the hospital, free car parking is provided
