Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications while adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring all items are fresh and properly stored. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including compliance with health and safety standards. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and culinary best practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff supervision. Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
