Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing culinary expertise and creativity. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Conduct regular quality checks on food items before serving to guests.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. A passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
