We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Pub Chef (the pub specialises in Black Rock steak), you will be responsible for crafting delicious and creative dishes that complement our pub's atmosphere and delight our customers. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills while working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our pub's menu and standards.

2. Develop and execute creative and seasonal menus that appeal to our customers.

3. Ensure that all food preparation and cooking processes meet food safety and sanitation standards.

4. Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

5. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.

6. Monitor food costs and work to minimise waste while maximising profitability.

7. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.

8. Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques to continuously improve culinary skills.

Ideal Requirements:

1. Proven experience working as a Chef, preferably in a pub or similar establishment.

2. Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes.

3. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

6. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

We are initially looking for service hour coverage as 90% of prep work is done at another one of our locations. Service are going to be extended to cover lunch (with separate breakfast team) after dinner service has been perfected. Potential for more hour for the right team player.

Service Hours:

Monday - 5:30 - 21:00

Thursday- 5:30 - 21:00

Friday - 12 - 21:00

Saturday - 12 - 21:00

Sunday - 12 - 18:00
