Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team, with a focus on brunch and excellent plate presentation skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service delivery Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and knowledge Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service times and guest requirements Monitor portion control and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professionalism

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef with strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting Demonstrable expertise in food production, food safety, and hygiene standards Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team effectively Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control Strong understanding of hospitality operations and customer service principles Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in a hospitality context
