Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at Waresley Park Garden Centre. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of offering exceptional food experiences within our vibrant garden centre setting. This position is vital for maintaining our high standards of culinary excellence.
Responsibilities
Assist the kitchen team to prepare and cook high-quality meals. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations. Manage food production schedules to ensure timely service. Assist in the development of new menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area. Collaborate with the Head Chef to improve culinary offerings. Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent food presentation and taste.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen role. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations. Excellent team management and leadership skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Passion for cooking and hospitality. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Food preparation and cooking skills are essential. Level 2 food safety and hygiene is highly desirable.This role is expected to consist of three day-shifts during the week and every Sunday.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.35-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
