Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment. Plan and execute menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising kitchen operations and managing a team effectively. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Extensive culinary experience with a passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all practices. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of fast-paced environments. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
