We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
Manage food production processes, maintaining quality and consistency across all menu items
Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation
Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
Train new team members in food preparation techniques, safety standards, and customer service
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting, demonstrating excellent service skills including serving customers when needed
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, culinary techniques, and menu development
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles that showcase organisational skills and attention to detail
