We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess previous kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating fast food, made to order food and other dishes that delight our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership skills will be advantageous in managing the kitchen team effectively, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and excellence, whilst also being able to work in your own during quiet times.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help create a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and high morale.
Skills
Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Previous restaurant experience is desirable.
Good leadership qualities, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to cater to all dietary requirements.
Good food and environmental hygiene practice.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
