Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard (full breakfast, eggs, pancakes, pastries, etc.)
Run your section confidently during service (fast, clean, consistent)
Ensure all dishes go out on time and to spec
Work with FOH to manage tickets, timing, and customer requests
Preparation & Stock
Set up breakfast section ready for service (mise en place)
Maintain stock rotation and date labelling (FIFO)
Assist with daily prep including sauces, garnishes, and portioning
Monitor stock levels and report low items to management
Food Safety & Hygiene
Follow HACCP, allergen procedures, and food safety standards at all times
Maintain correct fridge/freezer temperatures and logs where required
Keep work area clean, organised and safe
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly
Team & Kitchen Standards
Work well under pressure and as part of a team
Support other sections when required
Maintain a positive attitude and professional behaviour
Help train junior staff and KP's where needed
Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience cooking breakfast in a busy kitchen
Strong understanding of food hygiene and allergens
Good time management and organisation
Able to work early starts consistently and reliably
Desirable
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
