Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our new Mediterranean kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and safety, along with excellent team management skills. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Duties



Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current food trends while maintaining customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and teamwork. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency across all dishes. Handle any customer feedback or concerns related to food quality or service.

Skills



Proficient in cooking techniques and culinary arts with a strong understanding of food preparation processes. Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant or catering environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences. Creative flair for menu development that showcases seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking methods.

Pay: 32,000.00-37,000.00 per year
