We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties



Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation and presentation Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient sourcing to final plating, maintaining consistency and quality Develop creative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to dietary requirements and customer preferences Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies Monitor inventory levels, minimise waste, and optimise cost control measures Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment centred on professional development Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Serve as a role model in hospitality service, supporting front-of-house staff when necessary

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team Solid understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential Excellent culinary skills with a flair for innovation and presentation Leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and suppliers Experience in serving guests directly is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Pay: 12.21-19.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
