We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our busy destination village pub team and to help grow our kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety.
3 days off per week
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food production and preparation to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste to optimise kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements
Proven experience in food production and preparation within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both management and front-of-house teams.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
