Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Maintain food safety standards and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety protocols. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's standards.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Extensive culinary experience with a passion for cooking and hospitality. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership abilities, fostering a positive work atmosphere. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
