We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service. Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Oversee food safety procedures, hygiene practices, and cleanliness within the kitchen environment. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise resources. Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, considering current trends and customer preferences. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Competence in food preparation, culinary techniques, and menu development. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management. Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
