Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining hygiene standards in compliance with regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste Develop new menu items in collaboration with the management team Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth workflow Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to customers Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service delivery

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Strong background in food production and culinary techniques Excellent team management and leadership abilities Skilled in food preparation, cooking, and presentation Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety regulations Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods Good understanding of hospitality standards and customer service excellence Effective communication skills and organisational abilities Experience in serving customers and managing a team in a fast-paced setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: 12.33-19.90 per hour
