Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional leadership and organisational skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and efficient kitchen environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills and performance. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimising waste. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies.

Experience



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: 24,420.00-38,654.66 per year
