Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong Team working skills and able to follow instructions given by the Head Chef.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
A background in various cuisines is preferred, showcasing versatility in cooking styles.
