Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations efficiently. Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations Manage food production processes, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and legal requirements Lead the team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests Photos of food for social media

Requirements



Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with team management skills Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-34,053.07 per year
