As a Chef at Sodexo in Stoke Mandeville Hospital, your love of cooking and excellent organisational abilities will help you lead the team that prepares the meals for our patients, staff, and visitors, improving their quality of life every day. What you\'ll do:

  • Oversee and support the preparation, production, and presentation of food to the highest standard, while understanding nutritional needs and environmental impact.
  • Plan and price menu items, order supplies, and maintain accurate records and accounts
  • Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
  • Support staff orientation and team training and development.
What you bring:
  • Relevant certification and minimum 2 years of experience in hands-on cooking.
  • Experience in menu planning and production
  • Computer literality
  • Excellent communication skills

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Working: Monday to Sunday 5 over 7, various shifts
