We are seeking a Chef to join our pub in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of dishes and customer satisfaction Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, maintaining a smooth workflow Train new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service standards Assist in menu planning and development to meet customer preferences and seasonal offerings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times

Qualifications

Experienced working in the kitchen or kitchen role. Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff Sound understanding of food safety regulations and best practices Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
